About

Faithful Okere, the instructor is an expert Data Engineer, Data Scientist and Data Analyst. She is also a Full stack developer and Software Engineer versed in several programming languages, SQL and more with over 6 years experience in the industry. She is originally from Africa and migrated in her teens to Europe for studies and then moved to the United States to study.

She is currently a U.S citizen and resident who in her fun times likes to travel, play tennis, practice yoga, go hiking and loves a daily workout at her favorite neighborhood gym. She loves her family, friends and dogs and someday hopes to adopt a dog. Some of her reasons of going into I.T were; the ability to work from anywhere virtually, the mental challenge and the great pay that being in I.T offers her. She volunteers in her community to feed those who in need, offers scholarships for kids in Africa to go to College and also mentors the community career wise, resume tailoring and landing jobs.

She studied at the Georgia Institute of Technology, USA, Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia and Kennesaw State University, USA.

Education

She is certified in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Excel, DevOps, Scrum, etc. She has a certificate in Full Stack Development and Data Analysis.

Experience

She currently works for a fortune 500 company, alongside teaching students to become Analysts and Data Engineers.
