Jorge Venegas

About

 Jorge Venegas is a motivated educator with over 15 years of teaching experience and 20 years of military service in the U.S. Air Force. Currently, he serves as a High School Teacher and Information Technology Department Chair. Jorge is passionate about modern approaches to learning and helping students excel in their studies.

Jorge is fluent in English and Spanish, bringing a unique perspective to his teaching role. He is committed to using technology to enhance education, having collaborated with Western Kentucky University to develop an AP Spanish Curriculum and led various IT initiatives at his school.

Degree

Jorge earned his M.A. in Educational Technology from the University of the Cumberland and his M.A. in Education from Cumberland University. He also holds a B.S. in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland University College and an A.A.S. in Information Management from the Community College of the Air Force.

Education

He is certified with a Professional Educator License and holds a CompTIA A+ certification, emphasizing his strong background in both education and IT.

Experience

 Jorge has extensive experience in both education and IT management. He currently teaches and oversees the Information Technology curriculum for high school students while also managing various IT-related responsibilities. His military background includes managing network infrastructure, training personnel, and leading administrative support for military operations.
